Position Description

Position Title: HR Coordinator

Department: Operations

Reports to: Manager of HR & Culture

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

 

Summary

The HR coordinator assists and provides administrative support for HR-related functions including, but not limited to: recruitment, orientation, benefits administration, safety and wellness programs, and helps strategic initiatives to improve and manage culture in the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years experience as an HR professional, or equivalent. Or minimum of 3 years administrative or customer service experience.

Must be respectful and capable of maintaining confidential information, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have a working knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures.
The  ideal HR Coordinator candidate should be competent working with Microsoft Office Applications, have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and be willing to function in a fast-paced and, at times, stressful environment.

Essential Responsibilities

•Facilitates recruitment process for all new hires through development of job description revisions, postings, sourcing, applicant tracking, screening, and additional communication
•Coordinates with Acrisure, LLC, parent company, and internal H&B resources for onboarding and new hire orientation
•Receive feedback from new employees and disseminate appropriate information
•Respond to employee requests for time off balances, updates or questions on pay roll information, and benefits
•Help coordinate employee events and related culture aspects with event manager
•Coordinates employee benefit enrollments and terminations and produce billing statements for the accounting team.
•Maintain and related organizational material and resources for employees and departments as needed.
