Ian Sutherland joined Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group in August 2009, as a Business Insurance Client Advisor. Ian works with a variety of local businesses to develop effective risk management programs to help control their financial exposure.

In 2014, Ian became a stockholder of Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group and in 2019 he became the Director of Sales. Ian holds both the Accredited Advisor in Insurance-Management and Certified Insurance Counselor designations. He is a graduate of Saint Michael’s College with a B.A. in Psychology and Business. Ian currently serves as a director of the Vermont Insurance Agents Association (VIAA) and Saint Michael’s College Alumni.
