Peter joined Denis, Ricker & Brown, a member of the Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group, in October of 1993. He became a principal and was elected Vice President in April of 2000. Peter graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in Economics in 1992. He is a member of the Vermont Chapter of Certified Insurance Councilors (CIC).

Peter is a member of the Montpelier Rotary Club, Director for the Central VT Economic Development Corporation, and Director for Montpelier Alive. He lives in Montpelier with his wife and three children.

Brian joined Denis, Ricker & Brown, a member of the Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group, in November of 1987, as a Property & Casualty Agent. In 1997, he became Vice President and owner of Denis, Ricker, & Brown, as well as elected to the Board of Directors. He is a graduate of the University of Vermont where he received a B.S. Degree in 1987. Brian has achieved the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor and Accredited Advisor of Insurance.

Brian is a member of the Montpelier Rotary Club and a past-President of the Central VT Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on many advisory committees for non-profit organizations in Central Vermont. Brian, his wife, and two children reside in the town of Berlin.

Debra Russell, Client Advisor Personal Insurance

Debra Russell joined Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group in 2007 as an account manager in Personal Lines and was promoted to Client Advisor in 2014. Prior to joining Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group, Debra enjoyed a prosperous career in the food and beverage industry serving as both Manager and Director in the sector.

Deb currently resides in Waterbury with her family, and enjoys the Vermont landscape while riding her motorcycle, bicyling, traveling and working out.

Kris Green, Claims Specialist

Kris joined Hickok & Boardman Insurance Group in 2016, as a Claims Specialist. Kris has 6 years of experience in property and casualty insurance claims and holds the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation. Kris graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Campbellsville University in 2006.
Kris is currently a youth leader for Christ Community Alliance Church in Orange, Vermont. In his free time, Kris enjoys hiking, running, race walking, grilling, and beer brewing. He currently resides in Orange, VT with his wife and their three children.

Mike O’Hara, Claims Specialist

Mike O’Hara works in the claims department at Hickok & Boardman specializing in commercial claims. He has almost 20 years of collective insurance experience as a multi lines adjuster, field appraiser and agency liaison. He is currently a Vermont licensed producer, adjuster and motor vehicle appraiser.

Mike resides in Barre with his wife Karen and their daughter. His interests include running and following sports, particularly the Baltimore Orioles baseball team.
